Dear All
I am Executive HR in software company.In my office attendance purpose biometric system using .here some employees not wearing ID cards in office hours,they are put in pockets only,if they go out side then they show the ID cards to exit /entry monitor and again they put in pockets.I sent a mail to all the employees regarding this one.but some of the members following and others not following.
Is there any special way to treat the all employees wear the ID cards.please suggest your comments.

Dear Mr.Venkat The only way to make it possible is to threaten that the salary will be deducted if proper rules are not followed (including Id card).

Along with the above mentioned suggestions, start his practice from higherf management.
Once the seniors practice this then automatically juniors follow this.
Its tough but it works in respect to seniors / their own HOD's.

Dear All,
I agree with Yaasmin,
and also suggest that you can introduce some Plain Cards with VISITORS sign on it to the visitors also and request them to wear it till they are inside your premises.
This immaculate the culture of wearing cards to all.

Hi,
Policy must be implemented from top to bottom. Please tell your top mgt to wear the card and instruct there direct reportess to do the same.
My earlier org we had faced similar issue. We told our security main at main gate to check the all employees (Specially) who are not wearing cards. Security man followed this policy so it was embracing for employees when security man stop them and ask for card to avoid this embarrassment they started wearing card. (You can understand how you feel when someone stop you for checking when you are in group...) By this we had recd favourable result upto large extent.
You can also publish name of all the employees who are not wearing card on notice board.(It's little bit harsh but it works)

Hi Mr. Rao,
Before issuing the ID Card, Have you given any instruction or Have you initiated an meeting about the use of this ID card. all the time financial implication is not necessary for discipline. because all the time they are not wrong.
First you have to strong your Policies, through writing or meeting. all new policies should be pest on NOTICE BOARD.
Discussed with department HEAD/ educate the new joinee with its effectiveness.
if you dedicatedly emphasis on my points you will never ever trapped in this kind of situation.
