Nice to get good information in this website, please guide me how to do manpower planning procedure in a Five Star Hotel in mumbai, having 100 rooms, 03 restuarant and 2 banquet hall,
How many staffs will requires
Supervisor
Executive
Manager

initially you need to Segregate the departments and try to appoint manager level and executive level they will bring their team.
the planing like......
House keeping : 1 house man can do 15 rooms per day, so 6*3 Max in House Keeping 22 staffs including supervisors and manager
like service just check it our how many covers you have in the each restaurant and plan it.
Front Office and engineering also plan it.
as per my knowledge you can take Mx. 200 staff in all departments.

Can anybody explain to me what should be suitable manpower for 70 room hotel, department wise in housekeeing how many staff we recruit including manager & supervisors, in F&B department if we are having 2 restaurant 24 hours, in Kitchen department how many staff including Executive Chef and Front Office how many Staff we can recruit. If we are mainting room ratio 2. i.e. means we can recuit total staff 140. Kindly help me how can I segregate this manpower into departmentwise.
Kindly help me on urgent basis.
