Hi
Really very useful one but one small observation ..
Entering of std code gives the exact answer but hte second one seems to show some errors.. if we keen the place its not giving the exact std code...

You have presented a very useful calculation to know the STD Code of various places of India. Definitely an useful one. But, I shall request you hereby to post another sheet whereby all PIN (Postal Index Number) Codes of every region of this country can be available. When we try Sangli one place it shows 240 and the second one shows as 233 and Jammu Kashmir top it is 210 and second one it is 191.
also
Kottayam - 482 (Kerala)
Alappuzha - 477 (Kerala)
Noida - 120 (UP)
Just clarify if possible

Hi
In this if there is no STD code then it will show the last STD code so the error.
In the second spellings should be correct.
