Dear Mr AR Potnis,

To finish the important programme like "Train The Trainer" in day's time is preposterous. Tell your management or authorities concerned that to derive the maximum output from the human resources you need to train them and certain training programmes need to be conducted in certain way and there is no let up in that.

I did my TTT when one MNC had employed me as training manager. But then believe me they had invested four weeks in grooming us. This very investment in human resources paid its rich dividends as they could take their operations to 200+ countries in first 24 years of their inception. This MNC is pretty labour intensive and not knowledge intensive company like Dell, IBM, Microsoft etc.

To be a trainer, one needs to a good presenter. To do course on presentation it take about 2-3 days.

My comments may sound little harsh but then I tried doing objective assessment of your query and I have nothing personal as such against you.

Thanks,

Dinesh V Divekar

In my opinion training the trainer has to be done cautiously because you have to handpick people in an organization who will be suited to carry out training other people. This needs self interest for teaching and can not be just forced on unwilling individuals.

Dear Potnis,
Pl. remember that you are not conducting a Training Prog. You are training people to train others. Your management should understand this. So pl. inform your management
that this is a challenging task and should be taken up accordingly.
I hope I have not hurt your sentiments. I believe in calling spade a spade. Regards

Yes, I do agree with all the above comments especially the comment from Mr. Dinesh Divekar. Mr. Potnis, it seems your management is trying to challenge you and you want to prove that this can be done. THINK.

Dear Arpotnis,
The minimum time required to conduct such an important program is 5 days. If you are agreeable I can come take a few sessions as I was involved in taking a few lectures on this topic conducted by one training organization
