Minimum wages in Haryana State has been revised based on the consumer price index & conversion factor, minimum wages w.e.f. 01.01.2008 catergory wise are as folows:-
Unskilled:- 3535.41
Semi- Skilled:- 3665.41(A) & 3795.41 (B)
Skilled:- 3925.41 (A) & 4055.41(B)
Highly Skilled:- 4185.41 |

as per upendrachaturvedi minimum wage is 3586 and as per navneet it is 3535.41. I am lil confused..
can anyone clear the confusion.

| | Anomaly in revision of Minimum Wages w.e.f.01.01.2008
Dear All Colleagues,
I have received the copy regarding the anomaly in Minimum Wages w.e.f.01.01.2008. I am forwarding the objection letter forwarded by the Industry Association to the Labor Ministry, the contents of the same are self explanatory. Now it is up to them whether to increase the minimum wages with immediate effect or to wait for the clarification from the Labour Department, Haryana
"The Labour Department Chandigarh have recently issued a circular intimating revision in the minimum wages by Rs.76/- (33 points) w.e.f.01.01.2008.
As per our calculation, taking July, 2007 as the base month as notified by the Government of Haryana Notification No. 3/42/83-3 Lab dated 27th June, 2007, the increase should be only Rs.26/- (11 points) as intimated vide our circular No.FIA\Cir\2008\017 dated 10th March, 2008.
Members may kindly note that we have taken up this anomaly with the Labour department and awaiting their clarification on the subject."
