Hello! All,
Thank you for the compliments for my "Mother Teresa" painting.
Here is one more of my works - This is called " Universal Jesus".
I wanted to convey the fact that great teachers and wisemen do not belong to one section of Humanity alone.
The rainbow colors of my Jesus's mane represents the varied and various races,religions and cultures that exist in this world. He is a guide to all of us. I have given His skin a neutral steel blue color to point out that He does not belong solely to whites,blacks or coloreds of this world. He simply was a "Universal Christ".
I have striven to show His compassion shining through even at the excruciating moments of His crucifixion.
