I personally believe, the goals should not be scientific, they should be reasonable. The goal setting process should be more about the common sense of managers and employees.
The scientific goal setting process usually leads to many goals, which are not achievable and the company can loose the momentum.

Dear All, There is a guide line for goal setting . it is called SMART objectives. S- Specific M - Measurable. A - Achievable R - Realistic. T - Time bound. Regards, T.S.SRINIVASAN
