Dear All,
Its not a stupid question, if we all know something and the other person doesn't know then it doesn't mean that its a stupid question..... being a fresher she doesn't have the general idea which we all have due to experience.... its like a kid who is trying to learn and we elders are taking it as a stupid thing......
Hi shilpa,
very truly said by Mr.Shivayogi but still its up to the company, the location, ur qualification , knowledge and also upon the candidate how well he/she negotiate....generally companies have their budget criteria also...being a fresher u can ask 10-15 K pm......
have a nice day :)

@ Kalpnayadav , I totally agrre with u .........
Its depends on ......
CO.'s WAGE & SALARY POLICY.
ITS BUDGET.
THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE CANDIDATE.
HIS/HER PRESENTABLENESS.
WORKING LOCATION's COST OF LIVING.
AVAILABILITY OF CANDIDATES FOR THAT POST.
Basically these are the main factors .........
& as an fresher Rs 10k-20k I think demandable.

I dont know why the question has been called the stupid one that too when its been emphasised and asked as the bracket for freshers? amazingally this is the one question which propogates within every heart of a young management student whether he study at Ram Pyari Management College or takes a PG diploma from IIM-A?
To our experience it depends on trade to trade, company to company and even within the company (with some slab systems, depending on the weightage awarded to your college like in some telecom and FMCG's etc)
Normally its between 2.5 to 4lac for majority of trades if you being from class2, class 3 management college. Else 6 lacs to 12 lacs is generally the prevaling range if you happen to be from the leading brass.
Good luck.

Dear Shilpa,
Kalpna & Gautam are very true & logical. Need not to discuss much on this question. We should keep all the controlling factors in our mind - Company's policy & strength, demands & capability of the candidate, market trends and exceptions (if any). Also need not to keep your moral down due to some of the illogical suggestions.
Regards.
