Please explain me abt the EPF procedure and can an employee who is under 6500 of basic be exempted from PF deduction? Pls help me out of this problem. Regards Abhilasha

Dear Abhilasha,
The employees whose basic salary is less than 6500/-can't be exempted from FP, however while joining if basic salary is more than 6500/- has the option to choose PF deduction. Calculation is simple:
6500(or what basic salary is)*12%=780/-
