THe overtime may be upto supervisor levels

the managers are paid for 24hrs and so overtime may not be eligible

as per law 48 hrs per week is the regular working hours

beyond 48 hrs overtime may be given or compensated in line with organisation policy

in our terms we never take whole week total for 48 hrs working, the day finishes that day itself, so we divide 8 hrs working patern per day

working more than 8 hrs is given as overtime

you can keep limit as overtime will be paid for the time exceed 2 hours min for operators

hours exceed 4 hrs min for supervisors on daily basis and calculate for whole month and given in salary

there is no limit for overtime, overtime amount also talken as earning and calculated for PF and TDS

If you want you can fix a limit of hours for overtime and remaining as compensatory off

or overtime compensated in money for operators adn compensator leave for supervisor

the compensation is either only on Basic and DA where other perks not taken intor consideration, and paid double in case of OT (other perks may be considered as washing allowance, entertainment, fringe benefits, medical allowance, Books and periodics)

Dear ramesh
as our our child labour act
Child - age below 13 years
Adulasant - 14-18 years
Adult - above 18 years
Adulasant may be adopted for work and employed, but they cannot og inot manufacturing
they can do gardening, House keeping, Kitchen cleaning, etc....
the average weight the adulasant may take should not exceed as per act
Adulasant may be employed prior license from concerned department
You can also decide whether you will allow only adults into factory premises
Security to be given strict instruction to check the age of the person coming in by checking any ID cards, Ration cards, X the certificate, etc...
you can make policy that your contractor should get teh details of the peopls employed under them and get registered to ESI (where ESI does not register childs)
if you want to show it to your customers you can go for SA 8000 certification, whcih deals more with safety in premises
