Dear malini,
You want to implement some innovative things regarding hr especially employee engagement activity. Then If ur company wants to touch their personal life also (sice it plays an important role in worl life). Arrange interaction programmes with their family members and sort out the problems that ur employee is facing and try to motivate him.If u post the details of ur company and type of employees(white coloured, blue etc) I will try to give my best.
Best regards,
Manoj

Dear Friend,
Every Dept in the Organization including HR, should be a Business associate to the Business Leader (CEO). Taking this as a topic, conduct a competition amongst employees as to how they can be true Biz associates to your Business Leader. For example, as HR executive, you should be able to hep the Business Leader in terms of people support, polocies support and process support which should directly translate into adding value to the business leader's objectives.
Best wishes

Dear All,
Thank you for the ideas & replies.
I work for a Taj group of Hotels in Bangalore as HR Executive(TATA Company) & every month we have innovation day wherein each department presents their innovations from their respective departments and it will be a real tough competition to win but i feel participation is more important than winning or losing.
I was thinking of innovative ideas which increases employee morale, boosts his motivation level, or to develop an employee friendly initiative, a new process, a new system etc.,
please do let me know or you may kindly share some of the best practices implemented at your organization at HR Department which found suitable & viable we may consider the same.
Thanks & Regards..Malini

Hello Malini,
One good option would be to start an 'Ideas & Innovation' program in your organization. Please share an 'Ideas & Innovation' form with all your employees and ask them to submit it to the HR dept. You (HR Team) along with the senior management can select the best idea or innovation and reward that employee with an 'Innovator of the Month' award. This will really help generate healthy competition among employees.
Regards,
Yashodhan
