Dear all,
Recently I joined in one Construction Company. We have corporate office in AP. Recently we got one project in west banal, we have started our project in WB.our project is crushing big stones into metals more than 100 employees are working in this site.
My doubt is under which act we need to register our company?
Can any one help me on this please...?

Labour licence has to be taken under Contract labour regulation & abolishtion Act. Regards R.Ponraj

Construction co. is to be registered under Building and other construction workers act 1996. Regards Rajendra Bhavsar 09926999005

Dear
Besides CLA Registration as Principal Employer in case you are working with Contract labour. If all the workers are company's roll nothing is required under CLA.
For crushing U require some plant and Machinery in any case U require License under Factories Act. If it is in covered Area coverage under ESI Act will also be needed.

Construction company is not manufacturing anything, so it will comes under shops and establishment act clearly.

I Agreed with mr. Satish who rightly said ClA requred if are are not independent firm .if u are doing some type of Manufacturing process even they are construction work required factory act licence from the concern sate
Mr. Rajendera thanks for Information but one think i want to share with u that construction act 1996 is covered under factory act it is not independently so factory act registration is must
