Dear Kavita,
Really a great posting...
Cathy, KARMA is a hindi word.. I'm not so great to define, however as i understand may be stated as deeds and actions appropriate to the person’s station in life.
According to religious beliefs, all people are brought back on earth, at which time they have a chance to be born into another good life, but only if they have been obedient to the rules in their previous lifes on earth. if not, they may have to bear the bad part of life.. :-)
Thanks
Sachin
