Dear All,
I am working in pvt. ltd. company & total employee strength is 15 ppl. recently job advt for permanent posts was released in local news papar and I received a letter from Employment Exchage for intimating them about vacancies before advt.
As per my knowledge Employment exchange Act is applicable to govt/semi govt organisations only, not to pvt. ltd. companies.
Kindly correct me whether Employment exchage act could be applicable to our company as well.

This Act is applicable to any organization (Pvt. Semi Govt or Govt) with manpower 15+ or the Job is for less then 3 Months duration
The following Jobs are however excluded
1. Jobs at Parliament
2. Domestic Work
3. Duration of Work/Job is less then 3 Month
4. Job of Unskilled Office Work
The Returns (ER 1 & ER 2) to be filed with the local Employment Exchange and notification of vacancies should be given at least 15 days prior to conducting written test or interview
