formula of Over time is basic +da + vda /month days / 8 hrs * OT hrs * 2

dEAR ARUNA,
congratulation for your joining payroll,
friend its a quite intresting part of any orginisation. Under it we keep records of employee in what time he is comming in and what time he is going out, means time management. We calculate their time for the company under this part which includes employees working hours, overtime...etc. and basis of his working hour we calculate each employee's contribution for the company and for this we pay them wages, commisions, and other funds like pf, esi...and many other allowances according to their utility for the company. this is the part which comes under payroll. rest you will get as you spent your time in this field. it is totally a learning process as much time you will give...you will learn more..
thanks

Well, better if you go with some advanced HR or payroll software and that will sure help you managing all your payroll, esi, PF, TDS. for your employees. You just need to enter details once and all other things will be managed by the software.
You can try Saralpayroll as it is an advanced payroll software capable enough to fulfill your requirements with no hassle.
