Ice Breakers Training Games are great resources for enhancing the effectiveness of training sessions. While playing games, participants are automatically engaged making use of all of their senses and actively engaging their minds. In addition to providing lots of fun, it helps to achieve good group dynamics. It also motivates and energizes the participants to bring out their best. These training games have been proved very effective in helping the participants to be familiar with each other, break down social barriers and help them perceive things in a different way.

.) Three Questions Game
This is a renowned Ice Breakers Training Game which involves the following steps.
The World of Work Map
- Each of the participants writes down 3 provoking questions they would like to ask others in the group. Not the ordinary “what’s you name” type questions but something such as, "Where is the most interesting place you have ever traveled" or "Mention a topic you feel absolutely passionate about".
- They are allowed sufficient time to associate with each other, and to ask three different people in the group one of their three questions.
- Finally they get back together and have each person stand and give their name. As they mention their name, the group is asked to tell what they know about that individual.
This is an excellent Ice Breakers Training Game which is designed to Chart progress and explore new realities. It can be very useful for the users to get more out of the various sectors of work and have insignificant impacts from the emotions and complications that arise in the different work areas.
The “world of work” map is made of 6 distinct segments:

This Ice Breakers Training Game is specially developed to manifest the exclusive talent of a participant to the other members of the group.
Everyone has to choose one talent or special gift that they possess and can exhibit for the group. They introduce themselves, describe what their special talent is, and then perform their special talent for the group. Birthday Game
This fantastic game is widely known and very effective in getting the participants know each other.
Paper Airplane Game
- The group has to stand and line up in a straight line.
- After they are in line, they are asked to re-arrange the line so that they are in line according to their birthday. January 1 on one end and December 31 at the other end. The catch is that it is mandatory for them to do all this without having any discussion or writing anything down.
At the beginning of this game each of the participants has to build a airplane with the paper supplied to them and write down their respective names. Some additional information such as the things they like or dislike may also be written on it. Few questions may also be added to make the game more interesting. On cue, everyone throws their airplane around the room. If someone finds an airplane, he has to pick it and keep throwing it for 1-2 minutes. At the end of that time, everyone must have one paper airplane. This is the person they have to recognize and introduce to the group. The Artist Game
At the beginning of this interesting game everyone is given a piece of paper and a pencil. In 5 minutes they must draw a picture that conveys who they are without writing any words or numbers. All the participants have to submit their drawn picture after the stipulated time. The pictures are shown to the group one by one and they have to try to guess who drew it. After this each of the artists is allowed to introduce himself and explain how his work expresses obviously who he is. Three in Common Game
At first all the participants are re-arranged in such a way that they form some small groups including 3 participants in each group. The main objective of each group is to find 3 things they have in common. But not normal things such as age, sex or hair color. It must be three uncommon things. After letting the groups converse for 10 - 15 minutes, they (as a group) must tell the rest of the groups the 3 things they have in common. Famous People/Cities Game
As each participant arrives, a 3 x 5 index card is fixed on their back with the name of a famous person or city. They must move around the room and ask questions that can ONLY be answered with a YES or NO to identify clues that will help them find out the name of the person or city on their index card. EXAMPLES: Paris, Madonna, Santa Claus, John Wayne, Casablanca etc. The Interview Game
This superb Ice Breakers Training Game requires the group to be broken into some smaller teams including 2 participants in each team. They are allowed to pick a partner that they know the least about. They are asked to interview each other for about twenty minutes. However, questions may be prepared in advance or the participants may be given general guidelines for the interview. They have to learn about what each other likes about their job, past jobs, family life, hobbies, favorite sport, etc. After completion of the interviews, the group is reassembled and each team has to introduce its team members to the group. This exercise helps them to learn about each other. Ball Toss Game
This training game is designed as a semi-review and wake-up exercise when covering material that requires heavy concentration. Each of the participants has to stand up and form a resemblance of a circle. It does not have to be perfect, but they should all be facing in, looking at each other. A ball or a bean bag is tossed to a person and he has to tell what he thought was the most important learning concept was. He then tosses the ball to another participant and then he has to describe what he thought was the most significant concept. The exercise is continued until everyone has caught the ball at least once and explained an important concept of the material just covered.
