Dear Friend,

To My knowledge If an organisation holds more than 20 employees it will covers under ESI and P.F act.

If Gross salaries more than ESI coverage it is Rs. 15000/- ESI will not applicable. But everybody should beyond that, If one employee below aforesaid amount ESI will applicable.

I am sure there are people especially from ESI department as a members in our cite-hr, I am sure they will give you appropriate answer for you.

I wish you all the best.

Thanks for your inputs !! but i heard that there is a provision for ESIC exemption for the field employees. If the field employees are on tour for some period of time (i.e.180 days out of 360 days then the ESIC can be exempted for those employees.just wanted to find out the procedure.
