Can any one tell me what is the MNC structure of HR Dept? a/c to work divison and roles, kindly help me in this regard, as I have to construct HR department in my organization.- AdaMs

Hi Dear,

In our organizaiton (FMCG - MNC) HR Dept. is dealing with three sub fucntion.

1. HR
2. IR
3. Administration

Each sub function is leaded by an Assistant Manager (or Executive)reporting to HR&IR Manager (Head of HR&IR Department). HR team consists of 3 to 4 persons, IR Team 3 to 4 persons and off course Administration team consists of 12 to 16 persons due to variation of jobs e.g House keeping, Telephone Exchange, Drivers, Gate Staff. etc.

General Structure of each sub function is as under.

1 X Asst. Manager or Executive
1-2 X Officers
2-4 X Supervisors or Assistant Officers

Normally in American MNCs the HR Structure is like this

INDIA MNCs
HR Head Human Resources Team Leader HRTL
AM/DM/Mgr-HR Team Advisor (s) TA HR Ops, TA, TE, TT, ER

Only two layers are there in most of the MNCs,
