Very interesting and realistic write-up. It is a refreshing change from those who exhort to "follow your dreams" without mentioning abilities.
I read a book on venture capitalists which stated that they fund teams and execution and not ideas alone. Accoutring to them many people have ideas but few have the execution.
Execution reminds of India's greatest post independent industrialist, Dhirubhai Ambani. The Ambanis are known for their brilliant conception and execution. Though my article on lateral thinking, it features the Ambanis and covers some other points mentioned:-
