ESI contribution Periods APril to Sep and Oct to Mar and benefit period starts from Jan to Jun and July to Dec.

My Question is if employee resigned after contribution period he is eligible of benefits or not. Because of benefits period starts after completion of contribution period.

Please clarify.

dear, ESI benefits nowadays are obtained by smart card, and company liability never end as the employee will not the benefit if he has not contributed less than 78 days in contribution period. -  Member Since: Sep 2012

is there any expert to answer to the above question " Resigned after the contribution period, will he be eligible for benefit under the benefit period" He ha contributed more than 78 days.
