Combined challan of a/c.no.1,2,10,21 & 22
Dear all in our company we have scanned the "combined challan of o.121021 & 22" original form and placed it in excel. our payroll program is access the excel and fill up the required details in the form. we are doing this for the past 2 years without any hassles. last month our challans were returned by sbi adyar branch stating that henceforth only coloured challans are accepted and not neat white papers. i enquired pf office and they say that they are accepting white challans and not instructed the bank to stop it. but sbi people flatly refuse to hear anything or accept white challans. the coloured challans can not be automated because of thinness. it is very silly asking to go back to stone ages. please advise. n.subramanian
