In this return we are required to give the details of contract labour employed during the year under report & therefore go through the definition of Contract Labour as given in section 2(b) of Contract Labour (R&A) Act, 1970 for clarification in the matter.

First examine which of Rules i.e. central or state are applicable in your case & then go through those applicable Contract Labour (R&A) Rules to have the format of annual return to be sent to the Registering Officer under CL Act & to have to have knowledge on list of registers to be maintained by you.
