Direct contract workers
Hi we operated at 25 employees and had taken pf & esic registration. we had scaleded down operations and now have 2 of our old employees now as direct contract workers. we have taken 3 new contract workers now a total of 5 direct contract workers. are we liable to pay pf? all have contract fee above 6500 are we liable to pay 4 have contract fee below 15k and 1 above 15k thanks. regards nish

Norms for salary above 15000 require
I am getting a salary of rs.32000.00 and from april co. stop deducting the pf contribution from us and there end and replied us the norms has been change so the staff above 15000.00 will not get the benifit of pf. when we asked for the refund of amount in pf they hand over a form in which it is written that we are regining from the job from april but still we are getting a a/c pay direct debit salary in the bank. what are the norms of pf is still confused to employees and co.s are taking the benifit of it please clarify.

Do we need to pay promoters esi or pf or any other factory act remuneration (not a direct part of the organization or under our direct payroll)?
My company is working on a rider base plan for which we will hire more than 300 promoters in various cities of india. "promoter" means a rider who will showcase our products on different counters. we are planning to hire them on a promoter basis and will pay a particular amount for promotion to them on monthly basis. there will not be any joining letter or appointment letter. we will just provide them in writing from our side that they are eligible to promote our products. my question is that since they are just promoters and not a direct part of the organization or under our direct payroll do we need to pay them esi or pf or any other factory act remuneration? my other question is what are the formalities we should complete in order to hire them as promoters and not an integral part of my company?
Pf deducted but not deposited to pf deptt
Hi i worked for 2.5 years in my earlier company in mumbai and my pf was deducted on a monthly basis. after i left i submitted all the pf documents but there was no information of the same from the company. when i enquired i came to know from one of trusted sources that the company only deducted but never deposited the same to pf department . also i came to know that the companies pf no. is of bangalore hence i was informed that any complaint to pf should be to pf office bangalore. i have all the salary slip where my pf no. and pf deductions are clearly mentioned. please guide if possible regards rajesh shetty
