Ways to keep record of leave and attendence

Hye I am new in HR, can you help in knowing the ways in which one can maintain the record of leave and attendence of employees in a company. Regards Deepti

Hi Deepti,

For attendance purpose, Muster Roll is the best and legal document. In fact we also maintain Muster Roll as a legal document. For Leaves, you can use Leave card. Leave card may be designed according to your requirement or you can use formats which are available on google.

Hello Deepti,

The most convenient way is to use a Time Attendance software. In my organization I use CHRONOS software that comes as a free software with ELID Time Attendance Devices. So far as I know, it is also available in India and doesn't cost too much.

Dear Deepti,

First examine which of the enactments are applicable to your establishment with regard to grant of different kinds of leaves & maintenance of attendance record & thereafter go through Rules of those enactments for getting formats for maintenance of records both relating to leaves & attendance.
