My sincere request is don't give mis-guide the members: The Half Yearly returns have to submit in "QUARDUPLICATE", i.e. in FOUR COPIES.. Three copies will be received by the Branch Office and One copy will be returned to U with acknowledgement. There are two Half Yearly returns, one ended by 31st march (Oct-Mar), which u are supposed to submit by 12th May and the next one ended by 30th September(Apr-Sept), which u are supposed to submit by 11th November. Apart from this u have to submit an Annual Report on or before every 31st January.... hope i clarified ur doubt........
Dear Seniors, We are an ITES company having HO at Chennai and Branch at Madurai. We are convered under ESI Act. An employee who is alloted to take medical in Chennai Hospital is transferred from Chennai to Madurai. Now his family is in Chennai and he is in Madurai. What is the procedure to claim hospitalisation for the employee in Madurai. Regards R. Swaminathan
To, Dear Lokesh, What Mr.VSP is suggesting is correct procedure, these days half yearly returns are to be sent through internet on ESI site i.e. ereturn or on line preparation of return. In Maharashtra at Pune region we are sending ereturns since last 2 years. This is very fast and authentic method as we get printouts in quadruplicate and submits the same alongwith 6 copies of paid challans for concerned contribution period. Regards, Kiran Kale, Kolhapur.
