PF; Enhancement in claim under EDLI from 60,000/- t0 1,00000/-, Also introduction of SMS facility for updation on withdrawl, challan(s) returns etc....
Gratuity; Enhancement from 3.5 lak to 10 Lak
Workmen Compensation act ; has been re-named as :Employees compensation act: and enhacment for calcualtion of claim from 4,000 to 8,000
Apart from ESIC, GRATUITY and EMPLOYEES COMPENSATION ACT, the PF's EMPLOYEES DEPOSIT LINKED INSURANCE SCHEME (EDLI) is also amended thereby increasing the quantum of benefit to one lakh from 50,000/- in case of death of an employee.
ALSO the Industrial Disputes ACT 1947 is in the process of getting amended as The Industrial Disputes (Amendment) Bill 2010 is passed byTHE RAJYA SABHA ON 3.8.10
