Dear freinds i want to know minimum wage act definition actually prevail in hr. also in addition i want to know that is hra is the part of minimum wage or not if yes 1 then pf is deduct on minumum wageinclusive hra 2 also bonus is calculating on minimum wage or basic wage as per act at present bonus calculating on basic wage. please reply sandeep goyal

Hello friends we are running a facility management co. and are primarily in to housekeeping and maintenance. presently many of our staff are employed on minimum wages. now my question is like this; can minimum wage be broken down further in to basic hra. since pf is not applicable on hra can an exemption be sought? is there any court ruling which will be able to support this claim. illustration: the current minimum wage is rs. 150/ is it legal to have basic rs. 115/ hra rs. 35/ please advice

Hello all as per my knowledge pf has been deducted on basic wageda. if in case minimum wage bifurcated in two parts i.e. basic wages hra e.g. minimum wage in our state is rs. 3000/ pm. we bifurcated into basic wages rs. 2000/ hra rs.1000/ will it be violation of minimum wage. further we deduct pf on rs. 2000/only. will it violate the regulation of epf act. your valuable guidlines will certainly enrich my our knowledge. br// gv

Dear all 1can anybody tell me whether we can split the minimum wage into various components like hra or spl. aloowance other than basic da if yes then may i have a supporting to justify the same? 2 if we give salary slightly more then minimum wage even then are we supposed to put the amount equivalent to minimum wage in basic da or can v split it as per our company policy. please provide me the necessary supporting notifications for the aforesaid query and also please provide me the government notification copy of minimum wage for delhi haryana and noida. regards mkk

If a company pays gross salary more than minimum wage pay esi & pf on gross. but no da component in salary structure. then this structure is legally right or not? example: salary basic 6000 hra 3500 others 500 basic wage as per minimum wage 5600 da3500.
