Hi All,
Can somebody let me know the various job responsibilities of a receptionist. And what additional task can be given.
This is a software Industry, and there are no much calls that comes in.
So would like to give her some additional task.
Have already given some admin related work.

Hi, An efficient receptionist shud be given charge of looking after stationery requirement & keeping a track of the same, courrier management etc. Regards, Anjali

as anjali said you can assign her the stationery requirement work, courier work,
petty cash transactions ie. writing vouchers etc. (after purchase of items for office use like tube lights, fans, water containers/bottles etc..... )
receptionist can also keep track of the Attendance details/ leaves of the employees incase the strength of the your company is small.
also maintain the copies of general bills of the office ie. electricity, minieral water, phone bills etc.
