Hello,
I am Manisha, am working as a Training Manager in IT company. Wht you can do for Friday fun activities are :
(1) Clebrate days ( Black & white day, mis match day, yellow day, green day etc ) which will also keep them motivated and energitic.
(2) Try having meal / tea together on Friday's and some one sharing a joke or sing a song, this will help them destress.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks,
Manisha

Dear Manisha,
Employee engagement is one of the most challenging and interesting attribute of HR. you have to be all the time active and creative. Having Friday fun is a good way of implemeting it.
Out of my experience, I can suggest you the following:
Try and make a fun club of 2 members(as you have only 8 employees) prefer picking up the most vibrant person as the club member along with you.
Fix up a budget of your activities in terms of gifts and prizes ( in accordance ot the management) the average fun club gifts come under the budget of 300 to 5oo /- a month
Suggested Gifts are : CD's Novels, Books, windchimes, corporate mugs, etc.
give 45 mins to Friday fun every 2nd and 4th friday of the month. Play individual games , and if the team increases in size, play team games. Declare the winner and click the snap for intranet / notice board display.
If required I will suggest you a big list of games which will give you a base to execute this.
Happy Working!!

hi all,
I would suggest activities like games and small birthday celebrations as a surprise. These things help to bring out the child in the employees and they feel happy and get motivated for they learn that the company cares not about their work but also about their happy moments.

Hi All,
Thank you so much for your kind replies.
Our Company's MD feels that Employees are not happy with their jobs. I have joined the said company from monday. As an HR manager i have noticed that Employees do not have any grades. They are happy with their salary which is actually at par. Timinga are pretty ok i.e. 8.30 to 5.30am. sat-sun off.
Altough compnay ws registed dint hav shop act which i brought to notice to MD and soonaftrewords we applied. Now we will have PT and VPF. No Gratuity as there are 8 employees only. No ESI as everyone getting more than 30k. (no one is getting below 15k).
I strongly found that there are no fun activities at all. No team building. MD thinks he is paying employees well so employees should put their 100% and be productive enough. He thinks employees are leaving coz market is booming up.
He wants me take such steps that will change employees attitude.
Help me seniors.....
Regards,
Nikhil
