hello all friends NOW THE ESI LIMIT IS 15000/- W.E.F. FROM 01/05/2010. IT MEAN SALARY LESS THEN 15001/- DEDUCTION WILL MUST 1.75%. THANKS PAWAN BHATIA 09812585353

Hi, So wht is the procedure to register ESI for the employees drawing less then 15k now, they were not register before because they were drawing more then 10k. regards, Chanda

For the employees drawing upto & less then 15 K the procedure of registration will be same as it used to be earlier for employees drawing salary upto & less then 10 K.
As its effective May 01, 2010 hence the coverage will be from May 01, 2010 only.

Actually I m new in ESIC, can you please let me know the procedure for the same...
I have got employee's form ready with post card photo and passport size photo. i just have to submite the same in ESIC office?
then wht next???

Nowadays you have a system of online registration at Sun Java System Application Server - Server Running. You can register yourself online with your employer code for ESIC. Fill in the employee details, upload the images and you will be provided the ESIC numbers for respective employees.
At the same time you can submit the forms to ESIC office. The ESIC office will give the acknowledgement of receipt of the forms and they will ask you to collect the ESIC cards of employees in a stipulated time period. On the given date collect the cards from ESIC office and make the cards available to the employees.
