For managing the attandance for regular employees and contract staff i think one can go for access cards or swipe cards which note down the time of entry /exit made. and i think it gives the accurate calculation .however,if you are convinced with this idea PlZ do let me know

You can buy a Time Attendance Machine, which gives you exact timings of the employee’s Coming time and exit time. Sanjeev
well we have biorep method. here the one of the finger print is taken and punch in n out time is recorded. this is a very accurate method
if you want you can buy a hand punch machine which is more accurate than the finger scan machine since it scans the hand of the employee, even if they don't have finger prints. we tried many paunching systems in our organization but this one is the most accurate. in addition to that you will have a free software with it which retrieves the data and make the salary calculation accordingly.
