There is no age limit for membership in ESI and EPF. However, for contribution to Pension Fund of EPF the age limit is 58. That means, an employee over 58 years of age can become member of Provident Fund and contribute 12% or such higher voluntary contribution as he desires towards PF. But the employer who is supposed to contribute 8.33% to Pension Fund and 3.67% in Provident Fund shall contribute the entire 12% to Provident Fund.

With regard to ESI there is no age limit at all. Benefits will also be available till the end of contributions.

Dear amit............ Now the dependent son can get pension till he attains 25 years (upto 31.05.11, it was 18 years only)...Hence you will be entitled for getting pension upto 12.02.2012.......
