Hi,
Our company is mainly doing fabrication & erection job in chennai. Our workers are mainly based at Bihar & from North Indian states. In our case every month we'll be recruiting more than 250 employees every month & about only 100-125 employees will be working continuously. Many of them might work only for few days in a month & leave without any notice. Is it possible to get smart cards for such employees. Please advice us regarding this.

I feel very sorry on ur comment.................

When ESI itself is a social security organisation, anyway most of employer's attention will be on the profit and their business only....Being the HR people we should take care of the welfare of our colleagues, employees, workers..... who are giving the blood and sweat for our organisation.........

We should always try to extend the welfare measures to every employee of our organisation, including casual, daily and contract employees, most of them are migrated in nature.....

If once covered under the smart card, wherever he works from kashmir to kanyakumari, he/she alongwith all their family members are entitled for medical benefit irrespective of the fact that he lives with their family or not........

Due to this smart card, the worker who comes from Bihar or elsewhere can comfortably work more tenure in your industry with peaceful mind about the health of their old aged family members..........

Hope all our friends will realise the benefits of the smart card soon..........

In case of querry don't hesitate to call me on 09443434313 or mail to
