Hi Friends!!!!!!
Can anyone tell whether the following compensation quoted by the company is right? I was committed for the CTC of Rs.15000/- per month. But they have issued this salary structure after one month. now I am getting only Rs.12000/- as my net salary. Please give your open comments. Will they add gratuity in CTC?????

If your Nett salary is Rs.12000/- pm then it is likely that your CTC is Rs.15000/-.
Yes, several Co.'s do include Gratuity as part of the CTC.
Personally I did always share the Salary Details and Structure with the candidate when making him/her an Offer.

Dear Siva,
Your gross is 15K but net take home is 12K.
Always check before accepting any offer as to what is the Gross and the take home Salary. Net salary is arrived at after deductions like PF, PTetc.

Dear Siva,
As per the laws of union govt. of india, companies may add gratuity benefit into the ctc of an employee.
Positively it is beneficial to Employees becasue Gratuity rules are meant for employee benefits.
As all know, Gratuity is being given to the employees who work in a company for more than a 5 years.
keep sharing... have great time...

Dear,
It's may be add the gratuity in CTC because CTC means Cost to Company, and we are know very well gratuity is part of Company but they should refund this amount in full and final time...
Thanks,

As per gratuity rules, the gratuity will be received only after 5 years continuous service with the company.
But if the person in CTC leaves the organization, before 5 years, will he receive the gratuity amount
with his full and final payment? As per the attached sheet it looks not possible. But it is deducted from the promised amount of Rs.15000/- CTC.
Thanks in advance for your clarification.

If the employee leave before completing 5 yrs, the amount such accumulated on gratuity head will be deposited to Govt authorities. The employee has to forgo the amount of gratuity though it is part of CTC.

Someone has mentioned something about Union Govt. etc.... Please do not make such irrelevant comments. There is NO involvement of any Govt. in deciding the CTC Structure. Vasant Nair

YOUR TAKE HOME SALARY IS AFTER DEDUCTION OF 12% PF of Basic + 1.75% of 12886 gross i.e 886/- Therefore, it comes to 12000/- your take home...12886-886=12000/-
This most of the HRs won't clear.

These days all pvt Organisations shows gratuity as part of CTC for MIS & provision purposes. It is actually a cost for company and with this logic it is right also but they are getting benefited due to an old act which don't address this issue.
In case of Siva's break-up remarks on gratuity is misleading as it says Employer will contribute 15 days of basic salary on completion of 5 years,
So my query would be is this 15 days BS would be in addition to Rs 3221/- mentioned as CTC or not. In case of Pf remarks is clear, so he should clear this with his employer.
