Does loss of pay have any impact on pf/esi contribution?
Friends please clarify my doubt. 1. due to loss of pay when there is salary reduction should the pf and esi contribution be reduced accordingly? 2. when there is loss of pay where do these reduction reflect? only in basic and da? or should it be equally deducted from all salary components basic da hra allowances incentives etc. with equal proportion? waiting for your relies. regards shijit.

Dear sir my query related to pf contribution in construction industry. pf contribution compulsory if basic da salary is less than 15000 if basic da salary is more than 15000 can employee request his employer not to contribute by filling form 11 for exemption.? the said employee opted not to contribute for pf as his basic da salary is defined more than 15000 wat happen if his earned salary is less than 15000 in a month. kindly advise thanks & regards pradeep

Dear all i am working with a leading construction company as officer in p&a dept. in one project site and i have got total experience of three years in construction industry itself. as i wish to change my industry and want to quit construction field when i discussed with some of seniors they told me its really impossible to get into some other industry except construction as people from other industry dont really prefer construction industry s guys. please advise me should i continue with this job and keep on searching jobs or i should quit this job without further wasting time and start career again. please advice me. regards sandeep k. rai 8971868255
Mw - differential da for different employment
Dear all almost all state govts are notifying mw for various industries with different wages and da. there has been huge difference in wages and da for different industries. can any govt justify the difference ?. while the da is common for all categories of employees in a particular industry why should there be difference in wages and especially da for different industry ?. can the govt assure different prices in vegetables or groceries for a worker in an engineering industry and construction field ?. experts could explain the rationale for such decision of state govts. thanks and regards. n nataraajhan sakthi management services hp : 91 94835 17402
Pf inspection & reports
Dear seniors we are the construction company with staff strength of 17 and we detect pf from the basic salary and we dint have da. most of the staffs basic salary will be 4000 to 6000. pf inspector gave a report to us a week back according to the book " the employees provident funds and miscellaneous provisions act 1952" 'basic salary' excludes hra bonus commission ot and includes all the salary emoluments other than above components. and he orally said that if the basic is less than rs.6500 we should include some components that it should come rs. 6500 and compulsory we should detect from rs.6500. questions 1. what is the minimum wages for construction industrymanagement staffs ? 2. why they take rs.6500 in pf when it is pension scheme slab.
