Dear Shwetha,
Policies are generally for shift timings & breaks,misconduct,attendance rules, dress code,leaves, statutory obligations,non-disclosure,IJPs and appraisals to mention a few of them. So you can coordinate with your management and frame rules or guidelines for all such types of policies.

We need to outsource our HR dept. Can anyone pls help me in telling as to what are the cost savings in doing so? Just the tangible cost that I would be incurring by having my own HR division vis-a-vis outsourcing it?

Hello everyone,
I am an independent HR Consultant and am working on creating an HR Policy for a software firm with about 25 employees. The initial policy will consist of details on recruitment and staffing, leave policies, discipline and General policies. I have been away from India for a while. Dear Prity,

My organization belongs to the Retail Chain for Footwear and accessories.
I want to make policy for Leave,Compensatry off,weekly off.
Corporate office is in Delhi and we have chain stores at Mumbai,Chennai,Chandigadh,Bangalore.

Please also let me know what all are the records i need to maintain related to HR and is it different for different store.
