Hi,
I hold a hotel mgmt diploma & a masters degree in Tourism Mgmt from IGNOU.
However,I work in the BPO operations sector in the mid mgmt level.I want to move to Training & Devt domain.
I am planning to pursue further education. However,I'm confused whether to do a M.Phil in Tourism (correspondence) as I love to explore tourism or a MBA with HR specialisation(correspondence) to enhance my prospects of being in Training in future as I am passionate about training??
Can any experienced senior guide me please?
Regards,
Soumita

Dear Rajshree
T&D is still an unexplored field, if you have the confidence in you take T&D and you will have a bright future. More over in T&D alone supply is less than demand hence if you enrich yourself at this moment sky is the limit for you.

Can the pf account be transferred with out the previous employers knolwedge.

My freind working in BPO service industry from 3 years as HR executive. He done fraud with companies money. He also agreed in front of company's manangement that he was done fraud of Rs. 25000.00. and he ready to pay the same. Management decided to give resignation and consent letter of above said amount. Managemen ask to put his resgination with immediate effect with consent which mentioned that fraud has been done of Rs. 25000.00. Next day he submitted nearly 20000 thousand & balance to be adjusted against his salary of current month(20 days) and bonus amount. Management promised him to give relieving & experience letter & also release his pf fund after some days. But now management not ready to give any respons after calling to them several times. He was not having xerox copy of resignation and consent letter. My question is that can the pf account be transferred without the previous employers knowledge or not. If yes what is procedure becuase employer definity not going to sign form 19 and 10c.

Hi Friend
If the Company had submitted the annual return for the concerned year and for which if the PF office had issued annual slip then PF can be transferred without the knowledge of the previous employer.
PF office will send the transfer form to the previous employer asking for Form 3A in case if they have not submitted the annual return for the said period.
Ask your friend to check with his ex peers up to which year they have got the annual slip. Accordingly he can decide.

Hi All,
Thanks a ton for your reverts.I'm looking into the eligibility & formalities of the T&D course in its site..In the meantime,I'm really worried about getting a break in T&D domain as my experience in ops is much more than in training.and thus, employers only prefer to offer me ops positions and moving to T&d is looked upon with suspicion:(.........I dont know the way out & I don't get interested in ops anymore:(......... All suggesstion from seniors in this domain, most welcome.......
