Would like to know, what to do as a new Manager Training, to present self as a brand, to get buying in from Senior Managers and others?
What is the protocol in performing daily activities vis a vis the HR Head/Manager? How to deal with internal politics?

Dear Ajay,
To start with, I would like to mention that to be a trainer in any domain one must have a thorough knowledge on the same .
However , trainers do fulfill this parameter but still many of the trainer couldn't able to sell their trainings and unable to create buying in from the management.
So, I'm very much curious to know how to create buying.
Thanks & Regards

Hi
As a training manager you could be taking sessions and / or coordinating the training requirements. Either way, it is important that you ensure that there is training culture within the organization.
The next step is to gain the 'buyers' confidence and the best way to do it is to work out a method to give them tangible proof that the training is beneficial. Use a mix of parameters to make your point eg. increased efficiency post training or reduction in cost or drop in attrition, drop in rejections etc are possible indicators.
You can then move on to innovative methods of giving training a push. This could be by way of rewards and recognition or regularly monthly updates pertaining to training through email or bulletin boards etc.
Hope I have give you some practical points that you can implement immediately.
Best Wishes
