Hi All, Anybody can help regarding New Tax Slab Rates like Income Tax, TDS, Professional Tax etc. for the F Y 2010-10 Thanks & Regards Sachchidanand

Maharashtra Salary less than Rs.5000 NIl More than 5000 less than 10000 Rs. 175 More than 10000 Rs. 2500 for the whole year to be collected as Rs. 200 every month and Rs. 300 in feb

MORE THAN 800000 30.00%
For Women Taxpayers
UPTO 190000 NIL
190001-500000 10.00%
500000-800000 20.00%
MORE THAN 800000 30.00%
For Senior Citizens
UPTO 240000 NIL
240001-500000 10.00%
500000-800000 20.00%
MORE THAN 800000 30.00%
SURCHARGE ON INCOME ABOVE 10 LAKH HAS BEEN ABOLISHED

I want to know what is the slab rates of Profession Tax for the Financial year 10-11 (A.Y.11-12), also please would like to know how this is calculated (for eg : no. of days attended of the working days etc.).
