Dear HR and fellow members:
My PF withdrawal application has been filed in Bommasandra, Bangalore.
My form 19 is accepted and online status says "wait for draft". Whereas just 4 days later form 10C is rejected and reason not specified. This makes me nervous on whether I will get my PF money or not.
Kindly answer following questions for my relief:
1. Form 19 accpet but 10C reject is acceptable situation to issue draft or both must be accepted?
2. Will I get my PF money anytime soon or I have to redo entire procedure and again wait 4 months?
3. Is form 10C really important or only 19 is enough.
Thank you in advance.

Hi,
as per pf act pf fund goes into two funds 15.67 % in pf & 8.33 in fpf (family pention fund) and to withdwral the fund seperate prescribed forms are availbale in market follwings are the solution for your quaries:-
both form should be dully filled by all necessary information required in format, if form is not dully filled so pf commissioner has right to reject the form.
as both funds are seperately maintained by the pf authorities so that they will be disburseing only 15.67% against form-19. both forms are equily important to claim the pf fund
you are suggeted to check with pf office where your pf fund is deposited why the hae rejected form 10-c and provide them the details that is required in form 10-c.
I assure by doing this you can get whole amount of pf

Thanks Ravi. This is certainly very helpful. I have small question based on your reply:
1. 15.67% and 8.33 % does not total to 100%. Where do rest of percentage money go?
2. Since form 10C is rejected and 19 accepted, do I have to do entire procedure again and wait for 4 months ? or I can atleast get some money back?
Thanks and Regards,

Hi,
as per pf act 12 % is the standatd percentage, those are coverable under pf and equal amount employer has to paid towards pf so total contribution of employee & employer is 24 % and bifurcation of 24 % is given below:-
out of 24 %:-
12 % (employee contrbution)
3.67 % (employer contribution) + 8.33 % (employer) = 12 %
employer contrbution goes into two accounts always as above mentioned
No need to redo entire process, Just contact to HR department of your company and tell them the issue.

Hi
PF 12% Employee Contribution to PF account
PF 12% of Employer Contribution - 3.67% to PF account & 8.33% to Emp Pension Scheme
Form 19 is used for the withdrawl of PF (both 12% + 3.67% = 15.67%)
Form 10C is Used for withdrawl of Employee Pension Fund. For withdrawing employee pension fund an employee should have served minimum period of 6 months in the company otherwise the form will get rejected. So kindly check your tenure with the previous organisation.
Normally i used to advise people who have served less than 6 months tenure to go for PF transfer instead of withdrawl to get the full benefit of the PF.

Thanks for useful information regarding %.
My form 19 accepted but 10C rejected. Will PF office atleast pay 15.67% or they will wait for new 10C to pay the whole amount together?
You would be surprised PF office does not give reason for 10C rejection and they only say its rejected. My company does not know what to do in this situation without knowing reason.
Has anyone experienced such situation before?

1 yr 11 months. And total PF value I am expecting back is around 1 L, 70 K.
Do PF office pay partial money or its always all together? i.e. since Form 19 accepted, 10C rejected, will they atleast pay 15.67%?
I would really like to understand this so that atleast I get some money in hand and wait for remaining till new 10C is processed.
Thanks and Regards,

Hi
They will clear the amount for form 19 you dont need to worry about that. Normally PF office used to send a cover letter with the reason for rejection along with the rejected form. Try to find out the reason or directly get in touch with the PF office PRO for the reason and then rectify the same and resubmit the form along with the covering letter through your previous employer so that the PF office will clear it in maximum of 15 - 20 days time.
