TRAINING
ON THE JOB TRAINING IS ONE OF THE MAJOR GROUP OF
TRAINING TECHNIQUES.
INCLUDES
-demonstration
-coaching
-mentoring
-job rotation
-planned experience program.
-job skill instructions
-assignments
-projects
========================
SO COACHING IS AN INTEGRAL PART OF ' ON THE JOB TRAINING
'===================================
COACHING is a person to person technique designed to develop
individual skills , knowledge and attitudes.
COACHING is most effective if it can take place informally
as part of the normal process of management or team
leadership.
HOPE THIS IS USEFUL TO YOU

Hi There,

Mentoring is more On The Job.This happens at the work place & is generally used to get a new employee into the department to learn the ropes / skills well from the mentee. The MENTOR is generally a senior person in the department of the organization who guides the new person (MENTEE) on the job & ensures that the new person picks up the needed skills , Knowledge to deliver / do the job / assignment successfully.

A COACH is a person who need not be from the same organization ,need not have any knowledge / skills about the COACHEE'S job , yet guides the COACHEE along. COACH is a person who has an understanding / appreciation of the coachee's potential & pushes / goads / motivates / inspires, the COACHEE to go beyond what the coachee thinks / tends to believe is the limit of the self. COACH DELIVERS THIS MORE BY ASKING THE COACHEE POWERFUL QUESTIONS OR BY GETTING THE COACHEE TO ASK HIMSELF/ HERSELF POWERFUL QUESTIOSN & COME UP WITH THE ANSWERS FROM WITHIN THE COACHEE. A.S.
