When i follow the instructions of operation head then the gm gets angry and vice versa!
Hi all recently i join a new pet bottles manufacturing company in pithampur mp. from last around 1 and 1/2 months i am adjusting here but every time facing some problems in very silly matters. i am a hr here and we have 2 seniors here 1 is gm and another is operation head. both of them are opposite to each others and they are not agree with each other s decisions any time. when i follow the instructions of operation head then the gm gets angry and when i follow the instruction of gm than operation head get angry. what can i do in this situation???? here other employees also so much unprofessional. they don t know how to behave professionally. if i do anything or say anything to them then all of them manipulate it and say to gm in very wrong way about me. please help me in this situation.

Hr functions in garment manufacturing - best way to judge the performance of workers?
I m working as an hr manager in a manufacturing company. i joined the company two months back. prior to that i have worked with it sector. so this is my first experience with the manufacturing sector. as there are different departments like cutting lining pattern spray packing. in company now m very much clear about their production and understand their process how it works like production from cutting department till packing and i have written job responsibilities of all the employees. now i want to know what is the best way to judge the performance of workers in a leather manufacturing company. i m completely handling the recruitments of the company. according to my md recruitment is just 20 of the hr profile. and apart from that there is no such work in hr. so i want to know that what all initiatives can be taken and in what way i can prove to myself that there are so many things in hr that can be done. i m very confused what to do?? kindly help.

Gm moved employee to unrelated department
Dear all i just want to clarify with you all one of my colleague joined my company as a production manager after one and half years he was moved to another department in the same organization but my colleague is not to go that department but our company general manager saying he must go otherwise he can not work herebut not directly my friend was veryupset with gm decision and explained with hr manager about his difficulties but the hr chose not to ask gm and he also not taking any action. he is very difficult situation but his company appointment order saying we will rotate personnel in various department to enable them equip with multi skill but this time the gm sent to engineering department but my colleague is chemistry student not even related with his basic field. the gm refused to talk anything so please guide us what shall we do to get back the same position and how to convince with gm bout his difficulties regards sarwan

Dear all i would like to set up a small scale garment manufacturing unit and a small retail space in gurgaon. womens casual wear and would like to operate in a niche market . i have professional degree in fashion designing. 1. it would be proprietorship co. 2. permanent employee and workers less than 10 people 3. need to apply for a loan from bmb bhartya mahila bank 4. machines required juki sewing machine 5 juki overlock machine 5 thread 1 cloth cutting machine 2 garment washing machine 1 inverters 2. e.t.c. 5. do i need to apply for a factory license under the factories act 1948? 6. without aid of power 7. noc from pollution control board 8. in terms of tax compliances do i need the unit has to register for service tax sales tax pan and export tax amongst others. a garment unit has to register under the child labor prohibition and regulation rules 1986. any help in this matter would be very much appreciated. regards madhumita
