Tiger155 Started The Discussion:Greetings to all. I just recently joined this forum because I am constantly seeing the above topic as part of the HR function. I am in HR from a small company and recently relocated to another state. Needless to say the ads for recruiters all make reference to this title.
I would like very much to learn more about this topic ( I have been reading the many forums discussions and I am interested). Although I must admit at first that when I heard the phrase I was thinking I new absolutely nothing about it. However upon closer scrutiny of the steps in the full life cycle recruitment read just a few min. ago in this forum, I saw that I already performed some if not all of these steps at some point in time in one degree or the other. So I said to myself, I wold like to know more about these steps.
So could anyone here kindly direct me to any site that may be offering FREE or PAID information and courses in this area so that I can check those sites out and be an=able to respond to some of these ads.
I was recently in an interview also and this question was asked of me about the full life cycle. From what I saw in the information about the "Steps in the full life cycle recruitment" in this forum, I only answered the HR manager on the Interviewing and Hiring Stage in detail, while briefly touching on the Recruitment, candidate sourcing and networking, and the assessment and selection and certification. Had I known about these steps the interview would have gone a lot better.
I would appreciate anyones help at this stage. A Free web site or sites and then those sites where I could obtain a formal course or training in this area. I would prefer some of the free sites at first or sites where I can learn more about this topic and then when I proceed to take the formal training/course It would make my learning experience more rewarding.
Thanks and I am awaiting a reply from anyone.
