Dear Runal and Aseem
Let me first explain esic in short word. It is a employee privilege. 1.75% of the employees salary was deducted and along with the employee contribution of 4.75% it is being deposited to govt. every month.
Presently, the salary limit upto which the esic can be deducted is rs. 10,000 now, esic has increased this to 15,000.00. But as of the poor infrastructure and facilities provided by esi, the employees are getting very little benefit.
Now, the esic has invited objections from employer or employee whoever has this against this increase of salary limit through this notification.
some one week ago , in another post in the citehr, one Senior person has asked all us of to support by objecting this rule of esic, as this is of no benefit to the concerned persons.
Aseem, the notification will be issued in May 2010 only with prior effect of April 2010.

Dear all,
In our banking sectors, only 50 rupees are deducted of our salaries monthly and goes directly to the government though their efforts of development infrastructure in all way of our country is nowhere looking so i ask from ESIC where the 50 rupees go then?
