Hi All...,

Need an important help from you all.....regarding my career...!!!

Currently I am a Trainee Systems Engineer working for a small company in Hyderabad. I would like to let you know about my situation in our organisation:

Note : Pls find the attachment also along with this post...!!!

1. I was recruited here after a technical interview in JD Edwards (one of oracle erp), which i learnt good basics on my own from my brother in US.

2.At the time of appointment, when asked orally many times, i was only told that the bond period exists for 2 yrs. only, so as i was a fresher in the market i felt it as a good opp. and accepted for 2 yrs. BOND keeping good hopes on the management.

3.But to be frank, really i have to say even after completion of 6 months here they did not give me any kind of imp. training that would make me survive in the market and also they have put me into some related 3rd party task for 6 to 9 months maximum (as they say) upto my probation period of 9 motnhs.

4. Doing the work perfectly they have assigned me and coming by 8:00 and saturdays and sundays and came for some national holidays also whenever they called me i came...I have followed all the rules having patience that this would help me in future...i have also got 2 mails from CEO appreciating my work.

5. After all this, i went to ask for a leave then i was asked many questions for what i want a leave then i was told that there is no back-up so pls avoid keeping leaves if possible........hmm but i really lost all my patience listening this....still left that and was patient and came avoiding the leave,

I have kept total of 5 leaves and have worked extra days of 7 days...that means having more than 100% attendance.

Sorry lets leave all this now...coming to conclusion:

i have more 2 months of probation so with all this dissatisfation i asked abt the rules for termination as i dint have much idea as a fresher abt all that but i do know that as per bond rules...i need to pay 2 lakhs if i leave within 6 motnhs of confirmation and 1 lakh after confirmation and before 2 yrs. of confirmation.

but i do not know and also cant expect good opps. with my 6 months of exp. but i cannot work here anymore with this kind of treatment and with this nature of mgmt.

and now even though its not mentioned in bond but they say that i have to pay 2 lakhs even if i leave in probation also.....so this is the horrible situation i am facing here....so i just want to know what can be done to get-rid of this situation...!!!

I would be very thankful to all your valuable suggestions....

Hope to hear from you my dear seniors....its so urgent for me..!!!

Thanks and Regards,

Sri.

Hi!
I understand that u might me going through a lot but the fact remains that in case u break the bond then u are liable to pay the amount mentioned in the bond , and if you file a case then the company might blacklist you as an employee and if it is a big company then it might also spread the word against you .
But still if you find it impossible to carry on then you can mend your ways to such that your boss gets you fired out of the company , that's the only way but then you have to really do some hard thinking on thepros and cons of it and find a job for yourself outside and far off from your city of current employment.
I'm telling u this as i have worked with an IT in HR and we used to get the bond money from any employee who broke it and give no respite to anybody in any case unless it was termination.

Dear Neha,
Thanks for the response.
It is not mentioned in my BOND agreement that i need to pay 2 lakhs if i leave in my probation period. the bond exists only for confirmation services. But the only point in my appointment letter mentioned is: "the person who have signed the BOND at the time joining has to compulsorily server their bond period". then i dunno what does the probation period mean? and also as the letter says bond is for 2yrs. of confirmation services then how can he keep my originals with him from the probation period itself....? pls due to lack of corporate culture and professionalism as a fresher only i have signed the bond jus listening to mgmt. but without reading it properly......so pls let me know ur suggestions further....!!!
Thanks in Advance,
Sri.

Hi ,
It is very difficult to give you the correct suggestion unless I have gone through the appointment letter and copy of bond(if u have that). So if u feel comfortable then u can mail me a scanned copy of both or either that u have at , probably only then I would be able to suggest any further.

Hi Sri,
LEAVE THE COMPANY IF YOU THINK YOU CANNOT CONTINUE ANY MORE THERE.
The reason is, the bond generally is onesided and has no importance associated to it.but in certain conditions where the company has sent you for a abroad trip for a special training and the company has incurred a huge cost for your training.
As per you posting I dont see that the company has invested any thing on you except the salary amount.
we also have some legal consutants on this forum, probably change you subject line as LEGAL ADVISE REQUIRED to have some more details on the same...but I can assure you that if you leave the company there is nothing worse going to happen.

The above suggestion is based on the assumption that you did not submit any of you origina documents to the company, say your 10 class certificate. Regards Kumar M
