Job grading & point plan method
I would like to know how banding is created in an organization wrt competency mapping and linking that to the compensation philosophy of an organization.eg. the job grading method could be framed and used for benefits fitment while the point plan hay plan could be used for evaluating the 'point value' of a job. which is a better way to create bands and levels in a mid size organization with around 300 employees? pls list any sources that could be referred for better understanding.
