I would be interested in knowing the different types of benefits that are mandatory on the part of the company and what is the minimum requirement.
1. Gratuity and Provident Fund :- What is the percentage % the employer and employee has to contribute. Whether it is calculated from Basic Salary or Gross.
1.2. Is that Mandatory to cover all employees from the date of employment.
1.3. After how many years employees are eligible for gratuity and PF benefits does that include the interest from the date of deposits.
1.4. If employees resign from the organization before 5 years and don't want to continue his service, in that circumstance employee become eligible for Gratuity and Provident Fund.
2. How is ESI Calculated. What % Employer and Employee contribution.
2.1. If Employer cover employees better than the ESI scheme, will it be mandatory to cover them under ESI Act. also
3. What are the other areas to be covered under the law.
4. How many days national holiday for private sector.

Provident fund is calculated as:
12% from Employee side on basic salary
13.61% from Employers, side
(8.33% EPS - A/C - I)
(3.67% EPF - A/C - X )
(1.1% Admin charges on EPF - A/C -II
(0.5% EDLI - A/C - XXI)
0.01% Admin charges on EDLI - A/C - XXII)
Non seasonal using power having 10 employee is covered under esi act
Non seasonal not using power having 20 or more are covered under esi act.
After completion of 05 years continue in a company, an employee is eligible for gratuity
before completing 5 years, an employee is not eligible for gratuity if he resigns and again an employee is eligible for PF from the date of appointment I think.
4.75% - Employer
1.75 - Employee on gross salary
every employee who is getting upto 15000/month is elgible for ESI and employer has to register them according to ESI Rules
