I understand what you're going thru cause I was in an exactly same situation 10 months ago.
Regarding policies, I can give you some formats. But before that I suggest you look around and ask around. they would be having some policies, eg, Leave policy, attendance policy, code of conduct, security policy. If not in paper they would be knowing it verbally. It would do you good to note them down. Since this is the first time it would help you more if you tried to start with formulating a employee handbook.
Once you're sure about Leave policy, attendance policy, you can look at travel policy, communication (mobile/email/inter office memos) policy, etc. As you grow in the organization so will your flare to develop the policies. for the rest feel free to get in touch with me for any formats if you're looking for.
