Hi every body i am an mba doing my project work. i have heard from people that with a management background i should work as a junior recruiter for 6 months and as senior recruiter for some time and then go for hr executive. what are the role and responsibilities and duties of jr recruiter and sr recruiter in a software company.

Hi mates let me start from the reason why i initiated this discussion. i had been to an interview at a software company and i was rejected though my major as hr in my graduation and i was up to the mark for the position. the position offered was it recruiter. from the very being i answered all technical questions asked by the hr. at some point of the interview the interviewer asked me difference between non it recruiter and an it recruiter and of course i answered it whatever i know but he wanted me to tell the skills required for an it recruiter he told me there is a key difference between those two. i am still wondering what are the different skills used in the it recruitment apart from normal recruitment. please let me know what are the differences between it recruiter and non it recruiter. what are the skills used in the both the functions? help
