I m working for idexcel technologies as permanent employee but working for client unisys india as contractor from 1.5 years. the client is not renewing the contract due to my pregnancy and my company is telling if they agree to extent the contract will pay 3 months and 3 months loss of pay for maternity leave. once if they agree for renewal they provide medical benefits if not no benefit. and they will cancel my employment .please advise.

My employer has given me only offer letter which i have signed and sent it to my employer and i am working in the organization for 5 years. now i want to join another company. i do not have employment contract or any appointment letter except this offer letter. offer letter contains my salary details and about the notice period. will there be any issues in providing me a relieving letter. what are the thing i should keep in mind before i give notice to my company. will hr rules apply to me even if i do not entered into an employment contract? can any one clear my doubts. thanks

Hi i have joined pwc on contract basis on 1/6/2016 and my employer is sisl who have given me a offer of acceptance letter with no terms and conditions mentioned regarding leave policynotice periodmaternity benefits etc. they keep on renewing their contract with no intimation to me. currently my contract is valid till dec 16. now im 4months pregnant and will be due in oct 16. maternity policy for pwc is 6 months paid leave while i dnt know policy of my question is follows 1. am i eligible for maternity benefits if they have only provided me offer letter and not appointment letter 2. can they terminate my contract during my leave absence after dec 16 3. whose leave policy will apply on me. my employer sisl or principle employer pwc. 4. if they terminate me before my leave starts will i still be eligible for benefits. 5. what legal obligations fall upon both employers in such a situation thanks for your help
